| These lorries constanly travelled up and down the Karakoram highway with their really quite preposterous, but incredibly spectacular decoration. We had been forced to stop and wait while the "road" was cleared afer a recent landslide giving us an opportunity to examine this lorry a little more closely. |
These landslides are a common occurence and the road is continually being blocked, sometimes for days at a time. Pakistan |
