Step 1 - Importing the image files
First the new image files must be imported across. Browse
to the location of the images and select the Image
- Import Images menu option. Thumbnail files can be optionally generated at
the same time. Whilst thumbnail files
are not absolutely required by the database it will run significantly faster if
they are available and they are required for generating a Web
Site.
Step 2 - Categorising the images
These files are now "in" the database but are not yet categorised and so will
only be displayed if no categories are selected. Before these images can be
considered to be fully merged into the database fully they must have some
categories assigned to them. Edit the
image properties of each image that you wish to merge.
