The thumbnail surrounds convey important information:
| Selected images are shown as "depressed". The brightness of the depressed surround can be set to your own preference (to make it clearer). See View - Options. | |
| Images that have no thumbnail file available will have a red border. See Creating thumbnails | |
| Normal images with locally stored thumbnails will have a black border | |
| Normal images with thumbnails stored with the main image will have a dark green border | |
| Picked up images will have a red surround. | |
| Categorised images that have not yet been imported to the database will have a green surround. | |
| Images that have any problems being displayed will have an appropriate message instead of the thumbnail. | |
